Flair
Hogan
Austin
Samartino

4 heads on Rushmore, there is your 4. Not sure there is a good argument for anyone else.

André is the mount.

They'd have to downscale Andre for Mount Rushmore
Yup

Wrestling if Fake, Just my opinion ha.

I think the WWE coined the right term:  "sports entertainment".  The outcomes are pre-determined, and the moves are often lessened to avoid injury, but most of the participants are great athletes who beat their bodies up almost nightly.

Some of the stunts they can pull off without shattering into a million pieces is pretty amazing. High-octane, glamorous gymnastics!

My Lord, how did I forget the nwo? They have to replace Harlem Heat on my list.

People need to not sleep on the Von Erichs. They ruled southern wrestling for over a decade.

Solid list.  Those are probably my four, as well, although I'm way higher on Demolition than most analysts.  They were the dominant team when I was younger, and I'm shocked to see that not only are they not in a lot of top ten lists, they're not even in some top 50 lists.

Demolition gets knocked down lists because they were a Road Warriors knockoff and not nearly as good. When you steal other people's gimmicks, which McMahon did here, it's frowned upon.

"The guy who is my hero, and who I think is the greatest wrestler of all time, that’s Ric Flair. So I do appreciate the comment but I have a different opinion about who is the best wrestler and the greatest of all time, I have to go with Flair. It’s in his blood he laid the groundwork. He raised the bar that no one has really been able to follow as far as work ethic.” - Hulk Hogan

Sean Michels, Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, HHH, Dusty Rhodes, all called Flair the greatest wrestler of all time. IMO, #1 isn't close. Hogan said something like 'Flair wrestled 60 minutes several times a week, I never even did it once.'

If you're talking about in-ring only, it's an entirely different list. Then you're bringing in amazing wrestlers like Ricky Steamboat, Chris Benoit, etc. Flair is probably the only one who could make the list based on his work, and based on his promos.

1) Flair
2) Hogan
3) Austin
4) Undertaker

First out: Dusty Rhodes. Northerners who didn't watch southern wrestling would have no idea how big Rhodes was. He was the Crocket/WCW counter to Flair's heel for much of the 80s.

It's probably unfair to not include Andre, but the Andre I saw was so overweight and crippled he could barely move. Worldwide, he was probably unrivaled in popularity.

have to add in my all-time favorite tag team -- Tito Santana and Ivan Putsky.  not Mt Rushmore worthy but far and away my favorite.

Hogan, Flair, Andre and Cena in that order. Tough ommissions - Stone Cold and Sammartino. In Vince Sr's era when they did the local shows with the big events in MSG, Bruno was huge. When they did the TV promo's he'd always say a few words on Italian and my grandfather would translate lol.

The Moondogs!

Here they are taking the belt!

This match, commentating, refereeing, crowd action and of course coaching from Lou Albano is sheer perfection.
