Herbert Jones, Isaiah Livers, or Kessler Edwards, in that order of preference.

Jones reminds me of Thybulle with his defensive versatility and ability to make things happen on that end. Totally different offensive game though.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Livers is my favorite food ( no joke) so I hope they pick Livers

Gross, Lol.

No worries, he eats it with some fava beans and a nice Chianti

I think we should take a high risk high reward guy as it is a second round pick, a lot here want to take a safe pick but that is not how you find good players in the second round, you have to take a chance.

Funny how much attention the 45th pick in the draft is getting by Celtic fans this season.  The same fans who casually toss in 2nd round picks as worthless throw-ins in most trade discussions. When it becomes the only draft asset, suddenly it doesn't feel so worthless.

Well, part of it is that we have no first-rounder this year but also this is a very deep draft with useful players that will go all the way to the end of the second round and into the undrafted guys.

If we make a trade sending out Tristan Thompson and Grant Williams I would have a real interest in picking either Queta or RaiQuan Gray. These guys are both big active players that would be good complementary players for this Celtics squad.

As the draft nears I’m and rumors of lower level FA signing like Nigel Hayes and a Javote Green are floating around I’m leaning more towards #45 being a draft and stash. I could see this French prospect as a viable option.

He looks like a physical freak in the highlight video but hard to really tell due to competition.
There are other guys I'd rather take.

I don’t have a great feel for the internationals out side of the likely 1st rounders but I like that Begarin is coming out of France a country that has been turning out a lot of NBA players, looks to have elite athleticism for a NBA 2/3, and was a very productive member of his U16 FIBA team. Being only 18 it’s feasible to stash him for at least 2 seasons.

My hopes for this draft are a Springer trade up or I Todd, H Jones at 45

Man I doubt Todd will be there at 45

He shouldn’t be and Springer should be out of reach but ESPNs tv mock had Springer at 30 and Todd out of first round. Crazier things have happened.

I also feel like Greg Brown could be there at 45 and despite his basement level floor would be worth the gamble.
I like three of those (I'm out on Jones). I could see C's taking Filip

.....someone who will be lucky if they get a two-way contract from the C's next year, nevermind get a 15 man roster spot.

Begarin is a great lottery ticket, I would be happy with him as our pick

I have mentioned this in another thread looking at the last couple drafts it is possible that the Cs negotiate with a prospect before hand that he will except a 2-way if drafted 45.

He's a very impressive athlete. I'd be okay with him. Would also be okay with Bleijenbergh as a draft and stash
