I agree with what a few here have stated before it happened: keep starting Smart.

Until we lose or something goes off the rails (smart starting to take way too many 3s), I dunno why you change it

The Celtics looked like they were having fun out there tonight.

That's what we want them to look on a nightly basis. Out there communicating and working hard.

my view about basketball is too much is made about the starting five. At some point every player goes to the bench, which means that at some point every player comes off the bench.

When you have a team like the Celtics you should see BB as a 12 man game with various substitution patterns rather than a 5 starter with 7 bench player game.

The fact Hayward can put up those numbers when he clearly is not fully healthy yet is impressive.

One thing about Brad Stevens is he learns from the early season mistakes.  His rotations and schemes get better as the year goes along hopefully just like the team.  He has more batter to work with on this cake and there still might be growing pains, but the team seems to have gotten over that hump of bad play.

Brad was smart enough to make a change early in the first quarter when they came out flat he subbed in Hayward for Tatum and it changed the momentum

Yeah, by April he's going to be deadly, and this team will be [dang] tough

he was tested in two regards today... at one point he got an alley oop pass, and then at another point he was pushed in the back by Teague. Those are  the types of mental aspects of the game he has to confront and overcome.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
