You know, maybe Im a slave to fashion, but I've really just about written off Bill Simmons at this point. He's not extraordinarily informed about sports, and he's almost too much of a celebrity to really put much faith in his "fan rants". He's about Bill Simmons.

But then I started listening to the BS report today, mostly because I've listened to all the science fridays and was curious.

You know what? its really really good. I may not have the endurance to listen to Billy Boy go on for 20,000 words about how the 1997 Red Sox team is a perfect parrellel metaphor for the last 2 seasons of Miami Vice, but the podcast was pretty darn entertaining.

They're free, and if you have the time, check out the most recent one with Bill Hader (the cop from Superbad that wasn't Seth Rogen, Tom Cruise's assistant in Tropic Thunder, SNL cast member, Jason Segel's brother in law in Forgetting Sarah Marshall). If you get the chance listen to it, its pretty awesome.
