Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (right calf) will undergo imaging on Tuesday but early indications are that he hasn’t sustained an Achilles injury, sources tell ESPN.

I read ‘hasn’t’ as ‘has’ and my heart nearly sank into my stomach. Let’s hope he isn’t out for too long, but let’s get him all the way healthy.

Again, be optimistic folks. There are reflexive tests than you can do early on that would point to the Achilles tendon well before an MRI comes into the mix.

I feel like Miami has had every advantage known to man (KP being out, referees, playing physical) and they are still down 25. Of course the 3 isn't falling for them but it's also because our defense is just suffocating them.

This really should have been a sweep tonight. We just coasted Game 2...

The C's can still win this series and the next one. Could get dicey though beyond ECF and of course Denver or Minnesota. Really praying it's a calf strain or ankle sprain and not achilles for KP. If it's the former, he would probably miss weeks but not out the entire season.

They reported as calf tightness, not a strain (which does matter). It didn't look great on the initial viewing, but after rewatching his last few minutes, I'm more optimistic that it's not a season ender.

I could be wrong but didn't Aaron Rodgers also have this happen and at halftime it was "right calf tightness" which became Achilles tear two hours later...

I think that’s still a possibility thst can’t be ruled out until he goes to get scans and a proper diagnosis can be made. He will undergo imaging on Tuesday according to Woj and thst should give us a more definitive diagnosis. They don’t think he did his Achilles but we’ll know for sure tomorrow or wed
