I can't figure out how Edwards went so low in the draft.

Height and is a SG in a pg body

Also I can see him not overwhelming during workouts

Cant replicate game intensity/wow factor the same way

But for what he can do .... a potential match made in heaven under CBS system (using IT4 as reference)

I’m not surprised he did, based on projections, but I don’t get it either.  I was shocked last year when he was getting evaluations that told him to stay in school — he’s not some guy who just blew up this year.  I’m sure there is something related to athleticism, but I really think the NBA had a groupthink blindspot on this kid.  I hope we’re right and they’re wrong.

Me too. I also thought that Edwards looked bigger than expected today in the photos of the draft picks.

Waters does look small, very small....
Doesn't look 5'11 to me. More like 5'9.5 to 5'10 unless Edwards is 6'2.

Summer league will be fun to watch. Edward's is going to light it up.  I know it won't mean anything  but it's going to look impressive. 😀

Our summer League team, including Tacko Fall, is going to be very exciting.

I had Purdue in my bracket.

This kid was on fire throughout the tournament, he truly carried his team.

Don't know about the rest of his game though. Will say opposing college coaches did not have an answer for him.

Sounds like how Eddie House was described on CB back then

Yes

But Edwards is bulkier and can create his own shot with not muh space to work with

Has higher potential than House

and edwards is a second round pick. if he appears in a regular season game at all this year ainge made a good draft. if edwards has a quarter of the career house had it will be a great success.

having said all that, i want to watch this summer league.  ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I like the Eddie House comparisons. Sometimes you just need a guy to get you buckets off the bench to turn a game around or put it out of reach.

ok fine

Carsen Edwards is going to be a player in the NBA. He's already getting double teamed. He needs to work on his passing.
