The Nets traded their entire future for two players that just shot 3-16 and a combined 8 points.  KG had a +/- of -19.  Their entire future!  And we're getting all their lottery picks.  Danny is a genius

This is a disaster!  But wins against equally dumpy teams like Orlando are going to happen occasionally.  Hopefully we can ship out some of these contributors like bass soon.  These random wins can't start piling up or it will be detrimental to our long term future.  These little one-pop wins feel nice for a second but they will kill our hope for future success.  It's like taking meth.

Winning games this year = smoking meth

Don't think you really have to worry.....the TANK is safely parked.  ;D
I'm not worried yet.  We are still likely to get a top 8 pick.  Can't lose em all.  Just gotta dust ourselves off and try softer next game.

As much as you bug me with your pro-tank talk LB, I can't help but laugh at this lol

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Stay calm and look at the schedule. We get shredded tomorrow, and come Monday the Magic have their Revenge Game™. We can still bottom out by losing three games for every one win. Only two games behind at the moment.

Kg and piece will still bring it hard in the playoffs, but I agree Danny made out like a bandit considering those two might be out of the league by next season.

After a hard fought win and excellent effort this team deserves better than to have its "fans" moping in the game thread of the team's best blog site because they didn't lose.

Its truly a sad state that this is how some people "cheer" for their team.

Great win.

The guys are going to slowly but surely learning how to play winning basketball, and not playing for themselves. Let's get some more.

Oh calm down nick.  Maybe 3 of these guys tops will still be celtics in a couple years.  These aren't celtics... It's a team of sitting ducks and scabs.  I'll root for wins when there is a point to it.  Right now I want to see us bottom out.  I'm not actually mad.  It's orlando.  You're going to luck int

Have to say. Stevens seems o be catching on to be so new  to NBA ball

Stevens doesn't rattle very easy.......that rubs off on players

Confidence is everything in professional sports.

So developing our guys into team players, making them learn how to play winning basketball and developing a winning culture doesn't matter?

Yes, let's lose some games, give our guys little to no confidence in themselves and insert a top 3 pick, because that fixes everything. No need for team chemistry and team desire for success.

No.  It literally doesn't matter.  I've explained that it another thread.  Rondo and perk tanking in 07 had no effect on their championship contributions.  Durants team actively tanking his rookie season didn't hurt his long term career.  The 2-3 guys still on this team next time we make a playoffs aren't going to care that we won 26 games back in 2013-14.

Even in spite of the bigger picture I still think its harsh to complain about this roster playing hard and winning games.
