I understand I'm a bit late for this, but better late than never

PS for the mods: if this is the wrong place for this thread, or there is already a similar thread open, apologies in advance

Is there a draft prospect playing in this game?

Or did you post it because it is two big name teams?

@Who

PAO is the team I support in Greece.

Having said this, there are some players that were discussed as draft prospects.

PAO's Charalambopoulos (b.1997). He is a forward with good fundamentals but probably not athletic enough to make  a career in the NBA.

His Draft Express page

And Barcelona's Vezenkov (b. 1995, PF). He could have been a second rounder in 2016 or even 2015 but he chose to withdraw his name and play in Barcelona instead. I was actually hoping DA would have picked him as a second rounder. At this stage, however, he looks like a good European bball scorer whose skills would not translate well in the NBA (the key word is slow).

Vezenkov's Draft Express page

Ah the joys of Gr sports... for the last 3 mins the fans are shouting 'f*** Olympiakos', without any reason whatsoever.

CSKA lost to Zalgiris, I wasn't expecting this.

Charalambopoulos as papagiannis should play 2-3 years at euroleague level and then try to move to nba... giannis was an exception... had unreal physical tools
Panathinaikos and celtics fan too!!!!!

Nice win for PAO. IMO Pascual does a much better job than Pedoulakis.

@konkmv

IMO Spanish teams are doing a much better job at developing talents than Greek ones.  eg Barcelona has its development team which plays in LEB oro, and their young players get plenty of playing time there.

I see your point, Papagiannis wasn't NBA ready when drafted but he wasn't getting mins with Panathinaikos anyway.

Post a link for a Real Madrid game sometime.  I only have eyes for Doncic.

Some say he's the best 2018 prospect:

Panathinaikos and olympiakos are obligated to win... always... have you ever watched a derby?..but... the talents that managed to play from very young age for those clubs had great careers...
Alvertis spanoulis diamantidis fotsis played all before being 23 as starters for the greens
When a team had players like dominique wilkins byron scott antonio davis radja vrankovic bordironga rebracca komazec galis giannakis christodoulou giasikevicius paspalij in ther starting lineup you must be exceptional to play...

Barcelona and Real have to win too, that's why they have d-teams.
