Pierce fired from ESPN effective immediately. Not really surprising that Mickey Mouse and Co. needed to let go of him after that display.

Can't say I'm shocked.

I love the Truth but I can't say he was necessarily a good analyst on TV.

Wonder if Pierce tries to angle onto Celtic TV broadcasts since he was canned from ESPN.  He's not particularly any good as an analyst, but is a true homer.

He'll probably need to "disappear for a while" in order to rehabilitate his image. I can't think of another person who's done something like this off the top of my head (Joe Namath on MNF came to mind but it's obviously a lot different)...

This seems like much ado about nothing.
Well, Mrs. Pierce probably disagrees, but other than that, yeah, it definitely is.

Yeah, although I'd be surprised if Mrs. Pierce didn't already know about such proclivities, but would rather it just not be public.

Mrs Pierce would have a right to be mad if she wanted. I haven't heard anything to that effect. But over all I'm not that interested in the whole kerfuffle!

I knew he was done. Charles Barkley he is not. He was a horrible analyst. I knew ESPN/DISNEY would can him. He better pray his wife doesn’t leave him.

I was thinking along the lines of ex-athlete analysts and not play by play but that's certainly another one.

When Gorman retires a Perk/Pierce television crew would be fun.

I wish they could just have Grande and Max do TV. They are great on the radio.

This x 1,000 when Gorman hangs it up.

My wife would 100% trust me drunk with a room full of strippers because I clip coupons.

Do strippers take coupons? 50 cents off a lap dance? Or maybe, instead of slipping money into her g-string, you could stick in a Cheerios coupon.

The more I think about it, the more the possibilities really are endless.

And my wife has told me that she'd trust me because we've been married so long that I wouldn't know what to do with them, and I just don't know how to respond to that.

I don't see the problem here.  He's a grown man living his life.  I assume his wife isn't oblivious to it, but if she is, that's their business.
