Sounds like Alldredge is going to be bought out and head to Miami. Drummond will also be bought out, with the Knicks, Lakers, and Nets frontrunners.

Celtics are going to have to wait to see who wants to chase a ring first.  Whoever they sign won't be doing that here.

I would Imagine Otto Porter might be in line for a buyout. That would be a nice low risk pickup to bolster the playoff push.

Note: Stole this is idea from BMark in the Mo Wagner thread.

Olynyk feels like a buyout candidate.  We could do worse if he could find his 3-point stroke.

I’ve always liked KO.  He’s better than Grant Williams.

Aldridge and Drummond are the guys I want. So naturally they’ll sign with the Heat and Lakers.

I'm leaning towards the Knicks for Drummond. Since he won't have bird rights, they're his best bet to get paid this offseason. He goes there and does well under Thibs, they could bring him back on a lucrative contract.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

I can't see Porter taking a buyout. He has basically checked out once he received that massive contract. I don't see chasing a title as a priority for him. He will never see another $28M per season contract again, so why not collect what's left.

I don’t know that he has checked out so much as he has been injured, but I do think that a buyout may be wishful thinking. His best bet to get paid again in free agency is to put up numbers on a bad team.  Orlando keeping his bird rights is probably in his best interest as well.

I hope that I am wrong though, because he would fit well here.

KO would be awesome

his body is in better shape due to Heat drill sergeant system (fat checking)

But will the Rockets buy him out??

Can't believe the Rockets got (or could get) little to nothing from Oladipo trade

team option on AB for next season.   And 2022 draft swap option.    What are the chances the Heat are lower in the standings

I wonder what his mindset it

Recently has edged out Pritchard for mins.  Has been playing decent ball

and now could be without a job
