Wow, mercer. They totally rope-a-doped the Duke offense into lame 3 point chucking offense.

They are also just mentally tougher IMO.

That Quinn Cook three with three minutes left could have killed a lot of teams, but they tied it up next possession.

Kept their composure the rest of the way. Them seniors paid off.

And I'm on the Langston Hall badwagon. I love how that kid played, want to see more.

Think this will hurt Jabari's draft stock at all?  Maybe he'll slip to 8th when we pick.

Yeah, having a team of seniors who know how to play is the grand equalizer in the tournament.

You need talent AND experience in order to win the whole thing. I really want Kentucky and Wichita St to clash in the next round.

Today i am looking froward to finally getting a good look at Creighton and Doug McDermott. Their games dont make their way to the west coast. Elfrid Payton will be good to check out too.

I dont think it will. He showed enough in the regular season what he can do. The he showed flashes of that mentality this game.

It was indeed a bad game for him, but I think scouts have already seen enough.

But if it indeed he slips, I don't think he'll slip that far. It may end up making him not the #1 pick, but I dont believe he'll go past #3.

Unless there's an ugly exit by Kansas this afternoon, I have to think Wiggins is edging ahead on Parker right now.

I know its foolish to base a kid off of the tourney but when two talents are rougly equal and one has a one & done, it certainly opens the door for the other to jump ahead.

Well if the cavaliers can select Anthony Bennett and Dion Waiters in the top 4, they could pick anybody!

Most teams are going to lock Parker into their top 4, regardless of his performance today.

His terrible defense continues to be worrisome though.  :(

Yeah, unless there's a ton ACL, arrest, or something really wacky (staying in school) between now & the draft, I don't see the top 4 changing.  Maybe just the order.   Embiid's not a shoe-in for #1 anymore and Exum could crack #3.  Besides that it'll be Embiid/Wiggins/Parker/Exum in some order.

After Parker cooled off a little, and Wiggins caught fire on both ends of the floor during the latter half of the season, i thought wiggins was moving strongly ahead of Parker. It'll be fun to see how it all shakes out.

I don't know about Jabari, but Rodney Hood at #18 looks a lot more likely

I'd agree.  I'd still be thrilled if the C's ended up with either.

Payton got my attention in that game. He belongs on someone's NBA roster this year or next.
