Feel bad for Chara. Guy kept playing despite a broken jaw and this could be it for him (or next year for sure is his last).

You forgot about the 2017-2018 Celtics. Led series 2-0 before blowing a 3-2 lead and lose Game 7 at home.

2004 Yankees still the greatest chokejob in sports history.

Pretty sure the stink bomb the Celtics left with their last two home games was reignited tonight upon the Bruins...1 Cup win out of 3 in past 8 years in the Cup...ugh..hard to believe we made it three times this decade.

This is why I don't like a Boston team playing a Game 7 at home. Can never trust 'em. Last year in the ECF the Celtics got bounced by George Hill and Jeff Green of all people at the TD Garden. Prefer to end it in 6 games.

I think the last game 7 we won was when IT was still leading the pack...i think since then the Cs have lost 2 G7...and now this.

I don’t think the Bruins choked. They got outplayed, but it happens.

Game 7. Binnington was awesome. Rask sucked. Story of the game right there. Really bad time for Tuuka to have his worst game of the playoffs.

But there is plenty of blame to go around, especially on the top line. Heck, if that penalty is called in Game 5 are we even playing Game 7?

Just a real tough loss.

Ah, we cannot forget that the Celtics beat the Bucks in Game 7 in Round 1 last year! But barely. Ironically, back in the days when "Scary Terry" was a phenomenon and Tatum was taking flight.

But yes, I do miss the IT4-led Celtics. They were fun too but it just wasn't realistic.

I feel bad for Rask too, he deserved the win.

I feel bad for him, but he didn't deserve the win. It was pretty clear to see what was going to happen if the Bs didn't score. Binnington was getting in a groove early taking fairly easy shot after easy shot, while Rask was standing around for 15+ minutes doing nothing. All of a sudden they attempt a shot from the blue line, Reilly gets a small piece of it, and it goes between Rask's legs. Totally inexcusable, but understandable because the Bruins were completely dominating the puck the entire period.

I think it really came down to who scored first. If only Binnington's shirt was a size smaller - that one puck earlier in the period that barely got stuck in his armpit would have slid through and Bruins would have been on the board first.

It's definitely shame and people should be upset, but hockey is so unpredictable. You just have to hope your team gets a lucky bounce here and there - it didn't happen for the Bruins last night. Congrats to the Blues and let's hope we can get back to the Finals again soon!
