Some people are just not paying attention. What's the Golden rule of trades. The Team that acquires the best player wins the trade. End of story.

The Fact that we didn't have to trade the Lakers pick, Memphis pick, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, is incredible. That's why you stack asset's.

We traded for a 25 year old superstar and future Hall of Fame and people are complaining. It's funny.

Is it still an overpay if IT is out until the all star game (at least) per reports that just came out?

Yes.

It wasn't just "Kyrie-For-IT" trade and Isaiah could come back after ASG Healthy and make tons of noise for the Cavaliers.

They'll be fine until then with Lebron, Love and Rose (assuming he even stays healthy).
Yeah, but if he wasn't traded then Boston would be screwed this year and then have to face the decision of extending IT long term at his age.

That's over half a season and there's no guarantee he'll be right either.

If the Cavs were saying he won't be back until the all star break it would be huge, but this is just once source who knows about this type of hip issue. It sounds like the source isn't even someone who has examined Thomas himself.

Edited. Multiple references to backing up of Brink's trucks are not allowed.
Is this a real rule?

I'm wondering the same thing lol.  For example, if I reference the brinks truck tweet from Isaiah while also quoting the above reference, is that considered too many?
Personally I think they should drive the brinks truck forward. No, maybe they should just idle the brinks truck.

Yeah, that article is't really saying all that much.  I would be stunned if Cleveland currently believes that IT won't back until the all star break.  If that is what they believe, I think they would have rescinded the trade.  If it turns out to be true, how could anyone think we overpaid.

So many clueless fans on this topic. It's really sad coming from Celtic fans.
