Long story.  Essentially, giving the member with the most posts the lowest number of TPs hopefully sends a message that TPs aren't that important.  Things were getting a bit competitive, so as forums manager, I decided to lead by example.

Question for Dallas:

How did a former coach of the year and the perfect mentor for Lebron slip to you at #24 in the coaches round?  Similarly, how fortunate were you to procure the services of a young, energetic coach who led Indiana to a #3 seed in the conference and a top-10 finish in both offensive and defensive efficiency?

;)

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
who builds a win-now contender about a point guard who...

What's that?  Kyrie Irving was much better as both a scorer and a passer in his rookie season than Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and some scrub named Jrue Holiday?

Fact Check.

That's not what I was observing. Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, and Jrue Holiday weren't the second best players on a presumed contender their sophomore years

Nobody's knocking the kid as a prospect. He's gonna be electrifying, and in 2 or 3 years the league with cringe at a LeBron-Irving team.

Just not this one.

Derrick Rose was an all-star his second year in the league.  Russell Westbrook just missed.  The norm is for elite PG prospects to "arrive" by their second year.  Heck, Irving is already there.

Again, the guy led every player in the entire NBA in "clutch" scoring.  He crushed, among others, Rajon Rondo, with the entire Celtics defense focusing on him.  He's ready.

But, I understand.  We're advocating (i.e., lying).  I get that.

Well to be honest the likes of Dwyane Wade never win anything without Shaq and Our very own Bron, Jrue Holiday is even more untested than the very own Irving who showd miles ahead on rookie year, players of Jarret Jack are almost using wheelchair to play, not to mention and sadly for us its true Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh will and will ever be soft *see Dwayne Wade,Brendan Haywood  ;D.... oh wait we were talking about Dallas here.

There's the base lineup:

Varejao
Lebron
Green
Thabo
Irving

There's our best offensive lineup:

Brand
Lebron
Green or Dunleavy
Gordon
Irving

There's our traditional lineup:

Varejao
Brand
Lebron
Thabo or Gordon
Irving

Q1. Roy, do you have an expectation of percentages or minutes breakdown for these lineups?

Q2. Lebron played 24% of his team's available minutes at PF last season. The overwhelmingly more effective lineup the Heat used was Chalmers-Wade-Battier-James-Bosh (as opposed to Joel Anthony at C, which had a win pct of 38%). Any worries that your lineup lacks a C that is both as quick and as offensively gifted as Bosh, or a SF defender like Battier?

Q3. Your C rotation is comprised of three players with similar skill sets. Was this intentional? Any worries about Lopez not being ready this season due to knee surgery?

Questions for Houston:

Q1. What's your best lineup?

Q2. What happens if this team overachieves and actually ends up winning? Will you go into the tank?

Q3. Who is the leader of this team?
