I have only one question for the Pats at this point:
Why is Brady still in the game?
belichek makes horrid decisions sometimes

Especially with Solder, the rookie in there...

Brady heard my comments last year when he played like a drunk rookie in that last playoff game against the Jets and wants to prove me wrong in a preseason game.

I was wrong Tom!!!! I was wrong!!!! I would NEVER consider trading you! Not even for Sam Bradford, Matt Ryan, and Cam Newton COMBINED! I was wrong!!!!!

Now get out

This guy on the Pats D, Carter, he's definitely made the team, I'd say.

Great minds think alike, (four seconds apart). ;)

Excellent 1st quarter by Pats, decent 2nd quarter.
I'd say biggest weakness right now is the O-Line (I think the starters were in there the whole first half, right?) Maybe Light will come back from injury in place of Solder -- he defiinitely needs seasoning.

Ridley should probably send Vereen a fruit basket with the note "thanks for getting hurt"

Classic rookie QB mistake on that play ... let the pressure rush his pass. I'd like to see more of Hoyer in this half, personally.

I see many of the Pats have the new "next-gen" Riddell helmets ... I wonder why the Bucs opted not to?

Not sure I'm crazy about the "rookies with rookies" thing Bill's doing ... I would've liked to have seen Ridley, et al, working with Brady.

The guy is talking about how New England fans are spoiled because of all the championships.

It's not spoiled. It's a birth right. Get it straight.

Nice game ... two completely different Pats teams from the first to second half, but that's the pre-season for you. This is going to be a very formidable team this year ... can't wait for the regular season to start!

Yeah, sad, but true.
I am excited about Vereen, but how many people (myself included) saw the Pats pick Ridley and groaned, but now see him play and say: woohooo!

I will never EVER buy into being spoiled by the championships the Celtics (and the Bruins when we had Orr), it's been generations of mediocrity or downright suckage from our teams (especially the Pats).
Yup

Watched the game replay on NFL Network late last night.

Just watched the 1st half but was darn impressed by the defensive front and LBs.  They really were getting upfield and you can see a noticable difference from last season.  Of course, this is tempered by the fact its preseason but you have to see some promise and feel upbeat about it.
