And in terms of predictions:

AFC East - Jets 12-4
AFC North - Ravens 10-6
AFC South - Colts 13-3
AFC West - Chargers 11-5

AFC Wildcard - Patriots 10-6 and Texans 10-6

NFC East - Cowboys 11-5
NFC North - Packers 12-4
NFC South - Falcons 10-6
NFC West - 49ers 8-8

NFC Wildcard - Vikings 11-5 and Redskins 9-7

Superbowl Matchup Packers vs. Jets

Superbowl Winner - Packers 31-21

 ;D

People are going to be surprised, when they shouldn't, that the Jets aren't going to be as good as everyone thinks.

I think the jets have some major question marks offensively.

Basically, will their rushing attack be as effective this year.  And if not, is Sanchez ready to have the weight of having to pass more to be successful.

And the Redskins are still terrible.  They have no WRs at the beginning of the season.  They have lost their starting G for the season.  And they have just switched their defense to a 3-4.  Not to mention the whole Albert issue.

For some reason, I think the Redskins will be a pretty decent team. A veteran QB in McNabb, good backfield or RB's, and good defense should get them their share of wins.

I do think the Albert thing can be a problem; but if and I mean IF he is true to his word that he WILL be there for training camp then the Redskins will have the tools to sneak in with a 9-7 record.

When was the last time any of those RBs were good?

And the defense is changing from a 4-3 to a 3-4.  That takes time to replace the personal.  Not to mention the best defender (talentwise) wants to be traded and is lazy.

In 2007 and 2008 Portis rushed for 1400 and 1200 yards respectively. Had he not got hurt last year I think he would have been a safe bet to crack 1000.

Hurt?  He started the season out of shape.  He got old like RBs do.

I do like the fact that you have the NYJ out of the playoffs but i dont think Miami wins the AFC East, I think its either pats or Jets
Miami went 11-5 two years ago on a weak schedule and wasn't as good as their record; however, last year they tailed off a bit, but the injury to Pennington and Brown really messed up chemistry and hurt their play.  I think Henne is going to be much improved this season, Brown will be back getting the two headed RB tandem back in force, and I really like the off season moves they made.  Parcells just knows what he is doing. Miami is the team to beat in the East and I don't care what any of the so-called experts say.

The Pats are getting older and I'm not sure I really like their what amounts to essentially no moves.  I think their run is over, though Brady should be better this year then last.

The Jets only went 9-7 last year and I don't think they will be better.  Sure Sanchez will improve, but they are worse on the OL and in the backfield.  Defensively they won't be much better, if at all.

One of the more different and more beautiful of the renditions of the national anthem I have heard in quite some time. Well done.

Strange, I'm watching this game and can't help but feel the Saints should have this game well in hand but I look at the score and it's only 7-0

Wooh Brady deal is done about 19 million a year for four years.  No surpise it's done.  I think like Gary Tanguay that it was all a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

Why did Andy use his timeouts with over five minutes left?!? Don't agree with that at all. Let's see if Vick can make another drive.
