I hate to see Dallas go this early because they're one of my favorite teams here, and I'd probably take them over any other team left in the West. But personally, I think Houston's the team to beat.

Also, sorry EvanTime, as i've said before, i like your team a lot but you got shafted in this matchup.  For the record i really do believe you take Portland to at least 6.

I will justify any one of the votes if asked without complaint.

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

(BUF/UTAH)--Buffalo

(POR/GS)--Portland

(DAL/HOU)--Houston

(SEA/PHX)--Seattle

Taking Seattle was very tough choice, I think it's a great even matchup but I have to go with the experience of the Sonics.  Though I've been debating all day about it.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
1/8: Buffalo (Sorry Scribbles, Dunleavy and Kaman, with their injuries are too much of a question mark here for me)

2/7: Portland (The starting fives are comparable - in fact, GS has the edge here in my opinion - but Portland's 8 man rotation and better defense is too much to overcome.  GS takes a few games in the series and it goes to 6 or 7, and is probably the most fun team to watch in the West)

3/6: Dallas (An interesting mix of youth and veterans on both sides.  Tough call.  The Mavs could be great or self destruct with that combination of players, but since I have no evidence that they'd be disfunctional, I've got to go with their talent in a 7 game series)

4/5: Seattle (IP, if you had a better first big off the bench, this series would have been yours.  Two very evenly matched and well put together squads here.  Sonics in 7)

Ugh, all favorites...I am lame.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.
