Cancer Awareness Thread

Ok this is nothing more than a fellow CB'er airing one out........

no need to go any further, but allow me a moment.
Since 1 PM I have been sitting in the waiting room in the Breast Cancer Ward at Mass General as my wife is with the doctor awaiting the results of tests on a lump we found in her breast this week.  While sitting here, the sitter called and my 5 year old has come down with the stomach bug and threw up everywhere and was crying nonstop until I sang to her over the phone and she fell asleep.  When we are finally done, it's off to the bumper-to-bumper traffic on the Southeast Expressway for our ride home.  Needless to say, the last two items are nothing more than pebbles in one shoe's the other we are hoping is in the same category.

Ahhhhh...........just needed to unload.

Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend and that by Monday the Celts have signed Mr. Posey.

Wow...Sorry to hear about your kid puking and the traffic, but obviously that pales in comparison to the stress of having a lump checked out.  Best wishes with that.

UPDATE:

Still sitting out in the waiting room, but just got a text from my wife (gotta love technology) doctor says that the lumps are non-cancerous cysts and that she's doing great.  Should be here for another 20 minutes.

Still facing traffic and a sick daughter --- but life is looking so much better  --- ever seen a grown man cry before??
