With White and Brogdon on the roster, it makes Smart expendable. We need a guard who can drive and penetrate. Both Smart and Brown ain't cutting it. And we will receive a reliable closer in Lillard. Still have plenty left on the tank.

Portland receives a rebuilding block in Brown. Lillard seems to be contemplating once he hits free agency. Might want to get some value for him while he's with the team.

I'm for trading Brown but Lilliard is too old. I want a player at least in their late 20's.

I wouldn’t mind KAT for JB at this point.

I think that may a little steep but I am in on Dame.

I would love to somehow get Draymond Green.

Dame is a much more reliable scorer, especially when the game matters and an absolute Alpha leader. We need that type of guy in the locker room since we lost IT.

Yeah, I'm all set. I wouldn't mind a scoring guard, but ones that are aging have not quite worked out for the Cs.

I'd check in with Cleveland to see if they would budge on Mitchell, maybe Garland and picks. They desperately need a wing, so I'm not so sure I want to help them, though.

No, let’s not pay Brown just because.

I would not be surprised if the market isn’t out there for him like he thinks it is. How many teams throw everything at him after this? Good/great player, but not an alpha. Tatum take so much pressure off him.

And if we're dealing with Portland, I'd expect them to be dealing for JB, while keeping Dame. If Simons, Sharpe, and #3 are on the table, I'd certainly listen.

Oh, he'll absolutely get the 30% max from any number of teams out there if he were on the market. And he is definitely worth that. The problem for us is that we can offer him the 35% max and it'll be a slight to him if we don't offer him the full amount.

I know he can’t be traded after signing a supermax. But can we sign him to an amount below the supermax and do a sign and trade?

I don’t want a super max Brown for another year with the Cs. He is the sleeping enemy who gained much from the Cs but backstabbed us later.
