it is a swap though, so yeah maybe more likely to swap but if Boston is still good even if we swap it won't matter.  Boston just can't be bad, but that was always the concern on the swap i.e  Boston. Is bad.

Spurs fans must be loving Derrick White now, esp for what he did against the Miami Heat. The same coach-led team that broke their heart in 2013.

Feel like it's us against the world typa mentality right now. Everyone in the NBA but the Celtics rooting for the Heat.

I love his game! Low-usage, 2-way combo guard who's a reliable shooter. The epitome of a team-first player. I'd argue he contributes to winning more than Brown does.

I hope we can keep White here for a long time, even after his current contract expires after 2024. Just a solid, smart player on both ends with a good story, but also I think he still has room to grow/improve. White is still just 28 years old.

Just checked the shooting stats for the Celtics playoff run so far...

D White: FG% - 51.2%; 3P% - 47.5%; FT% - 92.6%; 2P% - 56.3%

Averaging 29.3 min/g in 19 games, he is having an amazing post season.  Also averaging 1.1 blks/g.
