Old friend Yabu body slammed Dante Exum. Yabu “got away” with a five game suspension. News articles were saying Yabu could have been banned from the league for four years. It was a wrestling take down move if you watch the clip. Good thing Exum wasn’t seriously injured.

Crazy brawl.  Notably for the current C’s, this was Yam Madar’s team.

Too bad he wasn't suspended for 4 years, we could then sign him as back up power forward.

Maybe Madrid will release him for this.

Ah Yabusele. What a waste of a draft pick at #16 that season. He really was useless for us

Glad G-Will has worked out for us pretty solidly. I wished Yabusele could be that guy but you could tell early on it wasn't going to work.

He could actually be a deeper bench player in the NBA has carved out a nice role for himself on Real Madrid (at least before yesterday)

Exum did end up leaving the arena on crutches. And I'm guessing Real Madrid won't have a very pleasant welcome when they travel to Belgrade for Game 3

Yes and No.

You have to factor in Exum’s debilitating injuries early in his career.

He played one full season in 2014, then hasn’t played up to 70 games since. Torn ACL 2015-16. Shoulder surgery 2017. Ankle problems 2018. Torn patellar tendon 2019.

Was there a genetic component or just bad luck? If you watch footage of a young Exum he floats across the court and had elite athleticism. That elite athletic ability is now gone.

I think without those injuries, he very much could have been a Mikal Bridges type of talent.

Yabu with a sweet body slam .  Tommy points for it being Exum .
