I think comparing him to Westbrook is disrespectful, because he never impacted winning the way Doncic does. I don't think it's disrespectful to be compared to Harden.

Harden should be a two time MVP, had the greatest scoring run since Jordan in the late 80s, has never missed the playoffs, and was a functioning CP3 hamstring away from a trip to the Finals which they likely would have won. He is now on the cusp of the assist title whilst averaging his fewest turnovers since he played for OKC.

Doncic does need help. But it should never have been someone like Kyrie. It should be a strong defender who can still score 20-25 efficiently without a lot of the ball. A Mikal Bridges or a Jaylen Brown type.

Getting Carlisle fired in and of itself isn’t necessarily bad, had they hired a good replacement. They, however, did the opposite.

This offseason and next season are big for the Mavs. I'm sure Doncic loves it in Dallas, but if things go sour again then that's all it can take for him to potentially reconsider staying.

They'll probably retain Kyrie, but they need to do a lot of work to revamp/add to the bench.

I don’t think people understand how bad of a situation the Dallas Mavericks are in for the foreseeable future.

They don’t have room for a max free agent & they still have to re-sign Dwight Powell, Christin Woods & Kyrie Irving.

Dallas still owes Hardaway Jr. & Bertans 64 million over the next two seasons.

If Irving walks in free agency (again), it would be devastating for the Mavs.
