I just don't have time to focus on both college basketball & NBA these days.  I'm in my busy season with work right now so it's tough enough just trying to stay on top of the NBA. My alma mater (BC) has sucked in college basketball for about 15 years now so that doesn't help matters too.

Brackets are just a crapshoot for me.  Usually spend about an hour reading articles for research & that's about it.  Sometimes I get lucky but more often I don't.

Trying to fill out a bracket when you essentially watch zero regular season college basketball is less than ideal.

People have any predictions?  What are the upsets going to be?

The last many years I've used the following method:

1) Google "NCAA bracket experts"

2) Click on the first non-sponsored response

3) Randomly pick a number 1-10

4) Choose the corresponding "expert's" bracket from the never ending list of experts.

5) Fill out my bracket by copying theirs exactly.

6) Choose the final score

7A) Get upset with the expert when their bracket falls apart (which is much better than getting upset with myself).

or

7B)  Take full credit for being an awesome prognosticator if it goes well (7B has yet to happen).

This method has been a great relief on my brain.

BTW - according to dude number 6 from CBS Insider, I swill be pulling for Bama to win it all!
I used to have a pretty good system in the 80's and 90's until the 1-and-done kids started becoming the norm.   the system in order of rule priority --> if you have a situation where 2 rules apply, go with the higher rule.
1. Pick SEC teams to exceed their seeding by at least one round.
2. Pick Big East teams to win their first round regardless of seeding.  after that, they tended to play to their seed.
3. Pick ACC teams to play to their seed.
4. Pick Big 10 teams to play one round below their seed (or more)
5. Remaining games that didn't have a team falling under rules 1-4, pick teams that won their conference tournaments.  if neither won their tournament, pick the one from the conference considered to have had the better teams that season.

that would get typically get me a 75% win record or better.  now, forget it.

Just gave you your 9999th Tommy Point.

I'll make you earn that 10000th!

#14 Kennesaw State giving #3 Xavier hell.

Although Xavier has come all the way back with a 14-0 run to go up 2 now. But the Owls are now shooting FTs with a chance to tie. 4 mins to go

I almost lost my heavy favorite 6-leg parlay on that one.  But 2 legs won (Xavier and Baylor) and leg 3 (Marquette) is up 10 in the 2nd half.  Most worried about leg 4 i.e. Connecticut with Purdue and Gonzaga coming later.

FDU is giving Purdue the business.

Purdue is missing a lot of open threes (sound familiar?) and can’t keep FDU away from the rim when Edey sits.
