Wow. If they can get their QB situation figured out, they'll be tough to beat in the NFC.

49ers just lost Jimmy G so they better hope Purdy is the answer

They just need a competent and healthy QB.  I think the NFC is pretty bunk right now.  It's there for the taking for the Niners.  I don't expect the Eagles to be back in the Super Bowl.   The AFC is the much more difficult conference right now.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo plans to sign with the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini and Adam Schefter.

Garoppolo agreed to a three-year, $67.5 million deal, including $34 million guaranteed, a source told Schefter. He played for Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels with the New England Patriots and they now will reunite in Las Vegas.

as I said in the draft thread, there are rumblings they are going to go after Lamar.  Not sure how it would work both financially and in a trade package, but a trade doesn't need to be just 2 1st round picks, it could involve players (which might help out the cap).  You know maybe Bosa, Lance, and a 3rd rounder for Lamar (or something like that - depending on if the Ravens like Lance).

Good pickup. He's been a big part of that Bills D for years. Also a big loss for Buffalo
