Interesting new show on Paramount+ by the creator of Yellowstone, it is about a capo who stayed silent doing hard time for 25 years. Upon being released, a lot has changed for his mob family in NYC, who apparently have no idea what to do with him, so they notify him that he’s now in charge of Tulsa, apparently one of the only cities without any presence of Cosa Nostra. Starring Sly Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, the 75 year old capo immediately starts racketeering in Tulsa with a lot of comic relief as a result of it being set in Tulsa and the fact Dwight has missed the last 25 years behind bars (think back to the comedy in season two of Breaking Bad, when Walt and Jesse were just getting started).

Highly recommend checking it out rather than being put off by the presence of Stallone (I threw it on as a joke after watching the latest 1923 episode, thinking I’d get to make fun of Sly like in the good ole days of 💩 like Over The Top, but this is 🌟 entertainment with Sly’s best acting since the original Rocky and a great mix of comedy/drama).
