Lovers of good basketball should definitely tune in to the games, especially now that the group phase is over and the elimination games begin. The competition is insane this year with all the stars participating (Dončič, Antetokounmpo, Jokič, Gobert, etc.). The fight for the gold medal is wide open and it could go to anyone basically, which is one of the appeals of the win-or-go-home format - no cruising, no next game, every playing their balls off, emotions at the max.

Yesterday was a crazy day with the following statlines:
Giannis: 41/9/2
Jokič: 29/11/5
Dončič: 36/10/4

Today was even crazier with Luka going for 47/7/5. The 47 points are second-best in EuroBasket history, the most in the last 65 years.

He also hit this crazy floater from 3 as the shot-clock expired:

It's wild that previously, if you have an NBA player on your squad, it was almost guaranteed that the player could carry you to many victories. Now, even with MVP players like Giannis, they still have tough time because you are going against other MVP candidates teams.
Baby Jesus!

Thanks for making this, I’ve just been commenting in nba offseason thread. If anyone has a fan duel sportsbook account you can stream almost all the games for free in it on your phone or computer.

Any good upcoming games? TP to whoever posts the schedule.
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Tomorrow doesn’t really have any good games as most of the teams are predicted to be blowouts. At least one really good game Friday should be Spain Lithuania. Lithuania has been led by valuncias and Sabonis. Spain has the hernagomez brothers and Rudy Fernandez. Saturday should see doncic and jokic play in games but schedule not released yet (teams qualifying tomorrow).

Luka is yet again just toying with his opposition, as per usual. Similar with Jokic.

The European crowd noises are so good

Wow! Jokic and Serbia eliminated by Italy today! Giannis and Greece are also in a tight game against the Czech Republic. This could be Luka's tournament to lose after today.

Well Slovenia on a huge run. Trailed by 19 at the half have outscored Poland 15-2 in first 6 minutes of third. Dragic has done some damage. I’m hoping Slovenia wins this would like to the Giannis doncic matchup in a foreign game.

18-point swing in 8 minutes.  Slovenia looks completely different.

Slovenia played some mind blowingly bad basketball in the first half. They have started getting sloppy again here in the last two minutes of third and are lucky Poland has missed like 6 free throws here. Down one headed to 4th.
