Tom Moore never got a head coaching job. Neither did Tom Clements and it took Joe Philbon 5 years as an OC to get pegged for a head job (and that didn't work well).
Those guys were of course the OC's for Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers for the brunt of their career and their SB wins (Moore was basically the only OC for Peyton in Indy). I think they mostly got docked because those offenses were so QB driven, they didn't get much credit. I think that is a big part of Bienemy not getting a head job. Most people just think Mahomes is the offense. It also doesn't help that Reid is widely regarded as one of the best offensive minds in the sports history. Given that, unless you blow a team away in an interview I don't think you will get the job, especially with a bit of a checkered past. Bienemy now has an opportunity in Washington. You make that offense good and there can be no doubt of your importance
