Refs ruined a potentially classic ending.  Still a very good game.

Bengals also got screwed in similar fashion a few weeks ago against KC. NFL clearly wanted KC to win it all

It’s as obvious as game 6 of the 2002 WCF.

Wow - sucks to be an Eagles fan right now. That most certainly was not a hold. Obviously, there’s no guarantee they would have come back down the field to get at least a fog, but you sure hate to see a freaking Super Bowl decided by the refs.

Good game.

Hate that ending though.

Yeah, it was clearly within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage and clearly did not cause the pass to be incomplete. Literally impossible to catch even if he was the fastest WR in history. Such a stupid Super Bowl ending. Basically a fictitious Super Bowl ending. These playoffs show me that the NFL is now a crap product. And that was a crap halftime show too.

Between the non-catch for Davonte Smith and that holding call, the Eagles didn’t get any favors.

Eagles got bailed out by that Goedert catch and the overturned fumble. But they were playing dirty all night injuring players. Hated watching them advance each time in the playoffs.

But here we are, another Superbowl that came down to 3 point swing. And now will not hear the end of the dynasty talks with the Chiefs.

Make up calls suck even in NFL. At least we all have a lot of "water-cooler talk" tomorrow

Something about Super Bowls in that stadium. Always a good one.

Definitely a very ticky tack penalty there.

Story of that game sadly will be the refs

Also, they legit threw the flag late and I think they may have thrown it after Mahomes started complaining and pointing at the defense. There wasn’t a flag until the ball landed on the turf after a pretty long hang time

Kansas City scored on every single drive of the 2nd half and the only reason it wasn't a TD on every single drive was because they were killing the clock at the end of the game.  If you can't stop the other team from scoring, I don't want hear any nonsense about 1 penalty costing the game.  The Chiefs just marched up and down the field (or 5 yards when you have the longest punt return in SB history).  The Chiefs were not sacked and didn't turn the ball over.  They had 3 penalties for 14 yards.  They played about as clean a game as a team can play and their offense just couldn't be stopped in the 2nd half.  That is why the Chiefs won.

I felt disgusted when they showed the picture of the David Tyree helmet catch that happened in this stadium.

Then I felt delighted when they showed Malcolm Butler game-winning interception in this stadium!

Between the non-catch for Davonte Smith and that holding call, the Eagles didn’t get any favors.

Do you mean the Davonte Smith catch that was reversed on replay? That was 100% not a catch, as the ball clearly bounced off the ground.

The Eagles did benefit from the fumble reversal on the replay in the 3rd quarter. It was quick, but I thought the receiver made a football move.
