80 games — excuse is there was a banned substance he was taking for a ringworm infection.  The Padres went big in the Soto trade so this definitely hurts their chance at a deep playoff run.

Baseball is definitely ahead of other sports in catching PED users, which is surprising given where they were in the early 2000s.

Big gut punch to my fantasy team patiently waiting for his return.

But I give MLB credit, they popped one of their biggest stars who hasn’t played in 6 months. They tested him during rehab and didn’t sweep it under the rug.

Beats me, but I think this year he makes under $6 million, so his wallet won’t be as hurt as it could have been.
