It wasn't helmet to helmet, but he did jump at him and had both feet off the ground.  They often call those type of hits.  It was close, since it wasn't helmet to helmet it was probably the right call, but leaving your feet like that, makes that a far more dangerous play, which is what that penalty is supposed to prevent.

I get it but i think thats the NFL interpretation of the rule as far as the launching/feet off the ground. I think its just leading with the crown of the helmet and head contact in CFP. I could be wrong tho

Probably the best set of playoff games ever! Both games lived up to the hype and were awesome  ;D

That non-targeting ended up being the difference as the Buckeyes lost Harrison to injury on it and had to settle for a FG.  They weren't the same without Harrison.

I live in Ohio and I can't stand the Buckeyes, I will have fun ribbing their fans, but then I pretty much hate every team that is not the Celtics, so there is that.

I went to see what time the game started and it is 17-7 Georgia.  Whoops.

Not unexpected.  That's why I waited until halftime to see if the game was worth watching.  Georgia and Ohio State have a big talent advantage over Michigan and a huge talent advantage over TCU.

Now it’s Over.
It was over before it started.  Sure it is nice to love the underdog story, but TCU just isn't in Georgia's class from a talent standpoint.  No one is this season, but TCU is not close.

Such an embarrassment for TCU and the NCAA, and such a dud for fans of college football. Maybe the NCAA will adjust its ranking formula to keep “teams with great records who really aren’t all that good” from making the CFP.

This game illustrated the difference between the SEC and other conferences. Georgia is  stacked with talent. I always wanted to see Boise St compete for a title before the playoffs. Tonight’s game shows why this might not have been a great idea. As tough as it is, Alabama with 5 losses would be a better opponent than TCU. Fans want to see new teams, but I bet 2-3 of the 4 teams should come from the SEC on a fairly consistent basis.

Eh, i wouldn't use 1 game as gospel for the worth of the divisions.
