Man on telecast of Florida/Kentucky game just said not one top 10 team covered the spread today.

Michigan is on pace to do so, despite the spread being Michigan -53.

Couldnít pull it off, as Hawaii left in their starters while Michigan went with 3rd and 4th stringers for much of the second half.

Another top 10 team went down late last night (#9 Baylor)

So thatís 3 Top-10 teams who lost yesterday, 2 of them to unranked teams

And 4 other top 25 teams went down. That's a lot of losing top 25 teams for so early in the season when teams usually load up on sorry sisters to get off to a good start, or at least they used to.

Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Nebraska paid Sun Belt teams a collective $4.173 million to play home games today.

All three lost.

"sorry sisters"

Yeah one of my friends went to and is a USC fan and he's ecstatic. Good chance they'll move up to #7 or even #6 in the rankings now. They've had a great start to the season so far, plus with Lincoln Riley leading their offense they could be primed for some big things if they keep it going. I still question their defense against better competition but outside of Utah idk who they'll play the rest of the regular season that'll really challenge them otherwise

The payment of those teams is great. What most people don't realize is that teams that aren't in the top 4-5 conferences often lose money playing road games. Even lower bowl games. Getting these early in the season games on the road versus top teams, is one of the best ways for them to make some real money for the school.

They really put UCONN vs. Michigan on ABC... (lol)

So far every game is basically a blowout too. Boring

This is a fairly common in early weeks. NCAA teams are well known to fill the front of their schedule with non-conference, sorry sister fodder. It's been happening only for forever. We shouldn't be surprised by this.

Oh yeah I know. But at least there were some competitive games still. I legit feel like there's been none today.

I count 5 completed games won by 3 points or less so far.  Several more close games including Cal vs Notre Dame underway.

Just watched the hail mary winning pass.  Very exciting win.
