cleveland is taking some time to choose. i wonder if a trade is the reason.

They picked awhile ago per Twitter…
thanks. nba.com is slow updating it seems.

No, it was slow to be officially announced, but Shams and Woj are announcing picks 3-5 minutes before they’ve happened.

Shams Charania
@ShamsCharania
Knicks acquired Jalen Duren -- and moved him with Kemba Walker to the Pistons, sources said.

Duren to Knicks from Charlotte per Shams.
Man, Duren would have been an awesome partner for Ball. Ah well

See my edit!

Almost feel bad for Kemba at this point. Just getting passed from team to team.

I think that was the safest pick for Orlando. Smart move, Imo.

Really difficult to differentiate any of the top 3 prospects from our position. If ORL decided that Banchero was their top choice and best fit, then it's hard to argue.

OKC stuck with their guy Holmgren at 2. Looks like HOU is going Smith.

Interesting how the betting shifted on this. It seems some people had inside info that Banchero would go first.

How many firsts to trade away Kemba...

Brad said he has the financial freedom to do what he wants. Also, the kind of money being moved isn’t something we’d really be able to get into. These are bad teams taking on money because they can.

The Pistons are going to be a really good young team that'll continue to grow and get scarier.

I also like the Kemba move too. Veteran guy who can provide some leadership and if healthy (big if, I know) can definitely help. He obviously isn't expected to be the star but can contribute.

And I think they still have enough for a max FA signing

Cunningham, Bey, Duren, Ivey, Kemba and potentially a max FA signing.

not sure where you get this idea from. Wyc has shown he will pay if it means a possibility of winning it all. i expect him to let PBS make some trades this off season to improve the team.

the two years before this one the celtics chances of winning the championship were more wishful than reality. now, they have proven they can win it.

let's see what sort of checkbook Wyc gives PBS.

If they don't cut him.
