I posted this one in another thread a week ago or so. I’ll go with it as my official vote. I think it threads the needle between cap conscious, makes us better now, and doesn’t sacrifice a future big move down the road.

Unfortunately it will be Bruno and PJ to OKC for a second rounder in 2023.

EDIT: Nope,  OKC doesn't have two spots :(

I demand at least one point for correctly predicting that no further trades will be made.   ;)

Why not the full 500 TP jackpot?

I'm with you, predicting that nothing will happen.
'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

Do people really try to get them?   I guess I am from a different generation.

A fantasy trade entry to contest:

Schroder, Grant Williams, Elijah Hughes to Milwaukee.

Smart, Connaughton, J. Nwora, Eric Paschall to Minny

Romeo L., J. Okogie, E. Freedom, S. Ojeleye to Jazz

P. Beverly, DiVincenzo, Jaden McDaniels, Jared Butler, Joe Ingles to Celtics

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y97tb25n

-Bucks get the two guys they want.
-Jazz get the perimeter D they want, and better shooting from Romeo than from Hughes
-Minny gets Smart who they wanted, and three very serviceable others, keep Beasley
-C's add two PG's (Beverly and Butler), the PF of future McDaniels, and DiVencenzo.

Beverly, Butler, Pritchard
Brown, J. Richardson, DiVincenzo
Tatum, DiVincenzo, Nesmith
Horford, J. McDaniels
R. Will, Fernando

Maybe we can keep Freedom...a little short on bench bigs...

recent chatter about McDaniels potential and my sense that Jared Butler could be a nice get were motivations for this trade...Beverly could be a spark too this season...

categorization of trade:  lateral move for this year...possible benefit to future, fantasy

You know what I'm just going to go for it.

Boston sends:
Marcus Smart
Al Horford
2023 Portland Second rounder

Atlanta Sends:
John Collins
Bogdan Bogdanovic

Edit: I do not think that this is likely but it is probably my favorite trade I could imagine.

I'm adding Joe Harris, Bruce Brown, and Day'Ron Sharpe to the Celtics for  Horford and Schroder. Win Now for Nets and win later for Celtics.

Brad Stevens has proven to be creative and unexpected in his moves so far. I predict something no one has considered, and I don't take any possibility off the table, including big trades where we become much more realistic contenders and are suddenly a tax team.

Who is the next Josh Richardson?

Predict the trades made by the Celtics.

One point for predicting the Celtic who is traded. Dennis Schroeder

One point for predicting the team he is traded to. Bucks

One point for correctly predicting any specific asset we acquire Donte DiVincenzo

Do I get anything for the old " We tried to make some moves but it takes two..." routine?
