Even if you think it would be a bad financial move , couldn’t live up to the first etc. Just something you’d been pumped to go see.
I think mine would be a “Goonies “ sequel with the kids now all adults/ parents . Think they could make a good family adventure snd something for the adults too with Josh Brolin and Sean Astin playing key parts. I guess there were thoughts on making one years ago. It still seems like a layup to me.

The Neil Blomkemp Alien 5.

Would've brought back Ripley and Hicks and would've somehow got around the events of Alien 3.

American Assassin.  Read the book series and thought they could develop it into a Jason Bourne type series based on the popular books.

Oh wow. Yeah. Would probably change my answer to this one. The two sequel names Brooks joked about - Spaceballs  2: The Search for More Money” and “Spaceballs 3: The Search for 2.”  Brilliant.

Rad. I would have loved to see how the Rad Racing team did post-Hell Track after Bart Taylor joined. I bet they really took the world by storm...but of course we'll never actually know   :'(

Dredd. One of the best action films of the last decade or so. Didn't do well in the box office.

But Karl Urban himself really wants to do a sequel. Would be great to show more of Mega City One and its gonzo cyberpunk denizens.

Allegedly this one might actually happen (and if there is a god it will happen). Really a great film hamstrung by a terrible name and Tom Cruise burnout (though he is excellent in this).

Glad to see other people appreciate a good movie that flew under the radar a bit.

I like Dredd but saw , "The Raid" first. Dredd is very similar to the raid but all guns with no martial arts added.

Ps it's like watching, "Internal Affairs" then seeing the "Departed". The international 1st version for me gets more cred.

I keep waiting for the sequel to Airforce One

...Airforce Two

yup...I have no fear of using a really dated joke that was horrible even when it was in its prime.
