10 year anniversary, let's get the W and bring the championship back home to Boston!

Pretty remarkable that Bergeron and Marchand are still going strong.  Krejci and Tuukka, too.

If our defense and goaltending maintains this level of discipline we will be hoisting the Stanley Cup.

That must have been a really frustrating series for the Caps.

The strangest sight last night:

I still think we should have signed him for the minimum, even if the team doesn’t seem to miss him.

Yeah, I wanted him back too. Doesn't seem right to see him in any other team's sweater. I was reading recently (on 538) that Boston, in letting go of Chara, basically gambled that their two youngest defensemen (Zboril and Lauzon) would work out well, but they've struggled some, which is why they went out and got Mike Reilly at the trade deadline. Chara could still help, especially in the postseason.

NYI close out Pittsburgh.

Bruins vs Islanders in Boston during the holiday weekend.

Could we see a full Garden?

Dominant performance by the Bruins, looked a class above NY.

Just like C's game when I tuned in late at 19-4, I tuned in late right in time to see the power play goal that tied it up. I now feel pressure to watch their next games entirely.

I don't understand the hat throwing. Yes, I understand the sentiment, but aren't you just throwing away a perfectly good hat?

Charlie Coyle with a very pretty 1st period goal. Bruins dominated the period.

Let's get this done and go up 2-0!!!!

What a game. Bruins dominated 1st. Isles the 2nd. Bruins most of the 3rd. Then Tuuka stands on his head the last 4 minutes stopping some great Islander chances to force OT.

Gut-wrenching loss. The OT goal was scored off a huge blunder by Bruins, trying to pass across the ice with an Islander right there. Similar to throwing a pass across the court over defenders in basketball. Often leads to a turnover and quick basket on the other end. Problem is that surrendering one goal can determine the outcome of a game, whereas one basket, by itself, does not.

Great game. Playoff hockey is great because the differences between the teams is slight. It often comes down to the hot goalie or a fortunate bounce. Right now it looks like this series is going 7. Plenty of conflict too lol.

Yuck.  You could see that goal coming.  The Islanders just had a ton of energy after killing that penalty.

Disappointing Bs couldn’t capitalize on one of their PPs this period. And Hall totally blew a prime NHL ‘94 one-timer. Let’s hope they can pull this one out - momentum is not on their side.
