Terry should have stayed home.  What was his agent thinking?

Dan Dickau 2.0.

Yeah, this is awful for his draft stock. I could see him dropping out of the top 20 now. I know I wouldn't take him before 20.

Good

Wesson
Marshall
Nnaji
Tillman (confirmed WS)

Bad

Riller
Terry
J Smith (no weight gain)
It's not as bad as Precious.

-Riller on some sites had the measurements that's been reported.
-Smith would be bad weight wise until you see is fat %. The guy is shredded. Still he is probably stuck at the 4 or as a small ball 5 for two years. Not a true 5.

Smith worries me because he has had all this time off and hasn’t gained from his listed college weight. If he came in at 235 I would have adjusted my ranking on him slightly but at 225 I firmly believe he will be struck positionally on defense .

I'm not worried about weights unless it is indeed dramatic meaning a guy got fat, is on juice, or dropped it too much. It's not easy to put 10 to 15 pounds of muscle even in a full year or lose the weight and it not bounce back. Guys can be dropping fat and adding muscle so that's why I look at fat %. He was 200 his freshman year. 220 last year. 225 now still under 5% body fat that means he is likely adding strictly muscle. That's impressive. In two years could probably be 240. It's fine that he starts off a PF or small ball 5 he is just turning 21.

So Terry's whole growing and gaining weight thing was BS?

You can't guard anyone at 6'2 170 with a 6'2 wingspan.

That's 2 inches taller than Kemba, with a 2 inches less wingspan and 15 less pounds.
Yeah not positive. The team already has Edwards no need to target Terry if he is also undersized.
I really wouldn't let Edwards factor in to any decisions.
So long as he is on the roster it should. Also DA said he is going to consider needs more heavily this draft.
Carsen Edwards doesn't impact needs.

Exactly the point. That's why wouldn't need to draft Terry

He’s just not built that way. Look at his legs. Sticks.

Tillman only 6'8.5'' in shoes, but a good 7'2'' wingspan. He also has huge hands at 10.25''!!! That's only .25'' smaller than Tacko Fall's hands! That's .5" bigger than Kawhi Leonard's!!

I'm disappointed that he weighted in above 260. It would have been good see him more trim leading up the the draft. Can rookie contracts have incentives? Could you do that with his weight?
He's heavy but he has the same or lower body fat % than these guys:

Despite being heavier than them all, significantly. His hands are huge!

Really disappointed in Terry's measurements.

I'm not gonna make a new post for this. The best comparison for Xavier Tillman is Domantas Sabonis. Both crafty finishers. Both great short rollers. Both good passers. Both good rebounders. Both limited but crafty athletes. Both intelligent but limited defenders.

Sabonis is two inches taller, but Tillman has a 4 inch longer wingspan.

Just to be clear, I don't mean comparison as upside. It's unlikely Tillman is ever as effective as Sabonis, but play style they are very similar and I do think Tillman could be effective in that roll.

On offence I really see it. Really similar game, but Sabonis' touch is superior.

On defence Tillman reads the game much better.

He most certainly cannot guard those players

Really disappointed in Terry's measurements.
Yeah I never thought he would have a negative wingspan :(. Still a very intriguing prospect though if his basketball IQ is as high as advertised.

He did grow taller and gain weight, he was just really short and light to begin with (he was 6'1 in shoes and 160 pounds-ish, that's a 2 inch growth spurt and 10 pound weight gain).
