Does Jordan Love fall to patriots pick? And will bill pick him? He is graded 90 points by espn so he’s got to be good

And if he doesn’t does bill still try to get best available qb? We are desperate at this position

The details:

Quote
The 49ers trade: Pick 13, 245

The Bucs trade: Pick 14, 117

A fourth rounder is pretty pricey for one spot.  SF must have convinced them another team had interest.
[dang], dropping 128 spots with one pick to move up one? Wild.

Didn't see SF picking Kinlaw though
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Tampa definitely overpaid.  But if you're going to put your eggs in Brady's basket, you gotta go all-in on it.

Some elements present an interesting side show...

eighteen picks are gone and five are offensive tackles...hmmm. Don't think Bill will want the "6th OT" on this board...will he?

Belichick watches what everyone else is taking waiting for "value."

He has built a dynasty on bad teams wasting draft capital on QB's, "rushers" and, in his opinion, WR's. I can't remember the year (as there have been 20 or so) when 5 of the first 12 picks were QB's?

It was like turning that 30th overall into a 24th overall.

This was one of the "off the field ways" that Brady helped the team. The more GM's grabbing QB's early in the first, the more talent dropping to Bill.

The tackle that Tampa took to block for Brady from Iowa is very good. He was a basketball player also.

The only QB's that I saw who might be "Bill QB's" Were Colorado and Hawaii. Issue is neither have the quick release. Jimmy G's release was and still is at the top for speed. Thus, I don't know if there is a third tier QB that Bill will pick with the 7 picks he has in the last three rounds.

The Brian Hoyer era part II is upon us.

The WR Lamb, from Oklahoma that went to the (Falcons) correction, Dallas, is really good. Mini run on WR's here.

The Notre Dame TE is ok, not sure if he can block and how far he'll drop. There are about 8 TE's who are "ok" and none really leads the pack. The Purdue guy is ok.

If Bill picks a "big D lineman" his stats are "SEC only."

Is there a huge guy from Croatia who started playing football six months ago? Keep an eye on that one.

Ok, 4 CB's gone...does Bill want the 5th CB?

One DT and one DE gone if you don't count EDGE.

Heading for Bill's sweet spot. I remember when he got Vinny Wilfork out of Florida because everybody was busy picking the wrong guys.

Steal of the night for the Bucs. Getting Wirfs, along with Gronk and whatever they might get for OJ Howard, could turn their O-line from "so-and-so" to one of the best in the league.

Licht certainly digging himself out from the grave. Acquiring Tom Brady, trading for Rob Gronkowski, getting Wirfs...safe to say, 2021 Superbowl Champions Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Mother of all overreactions. They haven't even played a snap together.

Weren't the Browns meant to have a completely dominant offence last season?

I think 15 now? Jeesh...

Boring because sat through all that for nothing, but it's good value considering all the top WR's were gone, and no stud QB/O-line guys fell.

Not enough. They need about 8 players in this draft to have a rotation impact this year. The chances of that happening are slim so need a lot of shots at hitting on picks.
