ok we are hanging but cannot get the lead. this must change next half.
Its still early, still jockeying for position.  No need to worry.  But yeah, we need to get the lead next half if we want to win ;).

Well, with the Morris injury causing them to go smaller, Smart's defensive mastery, and the fact that Rozier has played much better off the bench, you have to go with Smart instead of Green in the starting lineup from now on, right?

If they go small,  I let Kelly abuse them again.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

How come teams can't advance the ball in the first half?  Oh well.

Not a great sign that the Cs couldn't break through and get a lead.  Washington answering every time Boston tied or came within a hoop.

All things considered,  good half. They can get any shot they want vs them. Can't stop Gortat though.

It's close enough now that when Beal/Wall go to the bench, the C's bench can and should be able to make ground against them, especially with Morris out.

I was away from home, checked the score, and it looked like we had lost.

now we are back in. what happened?
weve gotten open looks all day long. They starting going down. When Wall sits down they suck. Thats when we made most of the comeback.
Its the NBA, that's what happened.  Early leads are meaningless.

unless they are 30 or 40 points.....that is not meaningless
You got me there.

IT is not in this the funeral of his sister and losing his tooth doesn't help

Also Crowder and Horford have been terrible what the hell has happened to Crowder? I can not wait to replace him he needs to get moved to the bench. I want Hayward or I'd even take Melo.

No they are not. The opposition has to expend a lot of energy to come back, and this may show up later fatigue wise. Another point is, the lead counts otherwise the opposition's run to tie would have resulted in a lead of equal amount and not just a tie. So an early lead is not meaningless at all.
Are you suggesting that the team that got ahead didn't expand energy to get the lead?  How does that work?

Didn't expand a lot of energy.  Second team came in and got it done.  No extra energy needed.

The minutes are going to catch up to the Washington starters in the 4th and the Celtics will be fresh as daisies! Kelly already out working Washington's whole bench.

Yeah, Crowder has been abysmal. But it's his defense that has been most concerning.

Terry Rozier is our leading rebounder with 6. 2 more than Kelly Olynyk who is second on the team.
