Also for all those arguing Trae vs Doncic, well Trae has dropped 42/11 with Hawks up 4 against Denver. He may not be an MVP, but I wouldn't completely rule it out either. He'll make some all NBA teams, and maybe even win some scoring titles.

Wondering about Kenny Atkinson's and Brett Brown's job security.

10 games into the season, and the Nets are 4-6 and haven't looked great.  Still early, and with a simple 3-4 game winning streak they'd look a lot better (and they have an easy stretch with 5 out of 6 games coming up before they come to Boston).

But if they stay sub .500 all year does Atkinson get the ax during the season?  Does he get a pass with Durant out?  He's a good coach, but someone's going to have to take the blame.

Similar with Brown.  I can't imagine he'll be fired during the season, but Philly has looked very human so far.  If they don't make it past the 2nd round again this year, will that be it for Brown?

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Even if he turns out "great", he won't be anything resembling Doncic, no matter how bad you wish it.

Sssseessh just celebrate the fact that he had a great game. They're both really good players and we should be enjoying both. Last years draft has been awesome.

You're right. I didn't mean to come off as hateful.

I don't really celebrate players who aren't wearing green. Maybe Isaiah if he has a big game against someone who isn't us, or anybody who beats Lebron or Philly.

I simply disagree with this statement. If Trae Young goes ham he could arguably best Doncic, although I'll admit that him making the jump into a Curry/Nash hybrid isn't all that likely. It isn't like Doncic is a top wing defender like LeBron to really separate his impact from all offense-average defense guards.

^this. People might think that I'm hating on Doncic simply because I disagree with the Bird comparisons, but I've been enjoying his play a lot ever since his great rookie season (looking back, my rich man's Gallo comparison prior to the 2018 draft was absolutely horrible LOL). I think he'll be one of the best offensive players ever when it's all said and done, just more in the mould of your traditional offensive quarterbacks like LeBron/Jordan/Magic.

Ha, try beating me thinking Exum was the next Penny Hardaway. That might have been my Aussie bias, but still. Jeesh...

To be fair Exum was really good until he tore his knee ligaments like 3 times lol.
