I mean, when did he officially retire? Didn't he keep talking about a possible comeback almost every year?

It’s fair that he’s disappointed, but he’ll get in soon.

A fan of Chris Bosh. I won't forget he saved LeBron's legacy by making one of the greatest offensive rebounds in NBA history.

"Rebound Bosh! Back out to the Allen, his 3-pointer....BANG, TIE GAME WITH 5 SECONDS REMAINING!!!"

Hated Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and the rest of that Miami team but always loved Chris Bosh.

Bosh is not a first ballot HOFer.

Hieronymus Bosch maybe. But Chris Bosh, no.

Does he really think of himself in the class of Kobe, TD and KG?
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

he can get as mad as he wants.  definitely not a first ballot player and I'd have to really be talked into him getting in at all.  really good career but too short IMHO.

Thirteen years should be enough.  I don't think that was the issue.  He was a very good player but if he never played with Lebron he's pretty much Chris Webber level, right?  Webber's not in there.  Bosh will get in sooner or later though.

does Carmelo Make it? He didn’t make a huge impact In nba but I wonder if his college and Olympic career gets him over the hump

Pretty confident Melo is a lock to make it. He'd be the only top-20 all-time scorer to not be in it (this is assuming LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, TD and Pierce all make it). His Olympic and college resume offsets (for me at least) his lack of NBA winning. Gotta admit, 2012-2014 Melo (when he was playing PF and before he got injured) was one of the most unstoppable guys I've ever seen. He's also displayed some pretty serious longevity, and will likely go on again next year, in my opinion.

Had Bosh not played with LeBron he'd be below Webber for me by the way. Webber's peak was night and day better than Bosh

He's not a HOF caliber player. He may get in anyway, but the league has been full of good players like him who never got in.

I can pretty much guarantee that Bosh will get in the HoF someday. He's pretty much a lock to get in...

Same goes for Melo.

Webber was basically given so much hype, and he had so much incredible talent and skill. The problem was his durability and longevity. Sure he played 14 years, but barely broke past the 60 game mark 7 times.

I know it is not the point of discussion, but to me, Bosh is more deserving HOFer than Melo.

Until you consider his college year and international play which the Basketball HOF does.

The issue with Webber is he's almost certainly being kept out entirely because he took money while a member of the Fab 5.
