Hudson is built like a tank. Is not light on his feet but once in motion can gather some speed. Nice steal

Good evening CBNation.  Hope everyone is well and had an enjoyable off-season.

Just tuned into this game and have only seen limited minuets of the pre-season so far but I gotta say I hope there is a seat on the Lester Hudson bandwagon and I absolutely love watching Paddy and Marcus on the court together.  Dallas should trade them GG just so they can have the "the next..." lineup

Going against marcus banks and patrick obie very interesting. Hudson is certainly talented but that least drive was absurdly out of control. Officials kind of bailed him out. Also does anyone else like the fact that Sweets is so big he can just run a handoff inside like a lineman and the guy usually gets a layup? We have been unable to convert a few unfortunately.

The Raps have no rebounding.

our last guard off the bench is a better rebounder than their big men.

That was enjoyable to watch when I didn't expect TV coverage.

Routine win.

Excellent job by the replacement officials, BTW. The officiating was coherent and consistent, and there was no preferential treatment for the stars.

So far, I haven't missed the veteran officials at all.

on the whole i agree, that first game was brutal though.

But hey, officials need the preseason too right?

Hey Bill, do you still not like the Rasheed signing?

Thoughts about the game tonight.

- Rondo has definitely gotten better than last year. He picks his spots to penetrate better, his lobby's looks as good as chris paul's , his passing is surer and he just looks like he plays in more control in general. Still didn't shoot many jump shots but the one he did , went in. (he looked confident doing it and its got to be better at least a little more than previous years)

- If we can stay Healthy (especially kg and wallace) I don't know who in the league can touch us.

- I'm not a big fan of eddie house manning the pg position and never will be.

- Shelden Williams looked good at times but at other times looked overmatched. Sweetney has looked good. He loses 10 pounds (15 ideally) and he could be good for 10 pts and 8 rebounds consistantly plus clogging up the middle coming off the bench. Looks like a smart player that doesn't make too many mistakes with the ball. (i honestly like sweetney right now as that big pf/c coming off the bench third after wallace and bbd)

- Marquis Daniel could be the worst shooter in the league its not funny. His impact is subtle and i'm not sure if he will make a big difference in the lineup. He is just like Tony Allen in alot of ways

- Danny has three guards that can't shoot in giddens, daniels and tony allen. I guess a lineup of Shelden Williams/Sweetney, wallace, bbd, pp/ray allen, eddie house doesn't look too shabby

- Lester hudson looks good. Looks like he has two years ahead of giddens, walker, gabe pruitt already. Plays with poise and hustle for a rookie and has picked his spots nicely to score tonight.

A Patty O'Bryant and Marcus Banks show at the end.   Made me glad to be living in the present.

I am really liking Lester so far like a lot of you.  I thought Giddens played under control once again as well.  The starting 5 is going to be their usual selves and with this newly revamped bench, I'm feeling VERY confident. Has anyone noticed how solid E House has been playing?
