We need to get this kid in for a workout.

I think he could replace what Sully brought to the table as he was a great rebounder.  I think he could be a sleeper.

I really like the prospect of Onuako as a perk like glue guy center. Not a center who I ever expect to put up big stats but has solid size, great mobility, and seems to have solid IQ.

Onuako or diallo?

Glad to see Jake Layman, almost impossible not to draw a Chandler Parsons comp with him. Like the idea of having an SF who can get his shot off with a high release point. Some are saying that he was underutilized at Maryland the past 2 years.

He's a Wrentham, MA kid, too (King Philip Regional High). His younger brother went to prep school as a junior this year, and his youngest brother played varsity as a freshman for KP (also this year).

Onuako, he is actually younger then diallo by a month despite being a soph. While not as mobile or as athletic he taller with a much thicker stronger frame and great length. Looking over the years of measurements for diallo I have my doubts that he ever put in the weight to really defend on the block.

Hey guys. 2 new names are working out for us. Updated doc.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Diallo has been added to the doc.

Credit (and TP) to TwinTower14 for posting about it in another thread:

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Would be so amazing to get Malik Pope on a 5 year deal in the 2nd round like Mickey.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Hi guys, some new names have been added to the doc.

itll be interesting to see the bigger names coming to our workouts now that we know where we will be picking in the lottery. I doubt we get individual workouts with Simmons and Ingram (especially simmons, he didnt show up at the lottery tonight, but ingram did), since theyll likely be working out with philly and LA only

We got 2 groups of workouts today.

I've updated the doc with those names, although most of the names had previously been reported.

The full 2 groups are linked in the doc.

I bet Danny likes bentil over pope. Bentil can really shoot the ball

Mickey is on a 4-year deal.  Can't do more than that.

Does anyone else think that Bender's skill set is too similar to Olynyk's? This would result in redundancy, assuming Olynyk is part of the team going forward.
You are no longer black, or brown, or yellow, or red! You are now GREEN, you are light GREEN, or dark GREEN!

Yeah, if that's an issue (and I doubt it would be), you can trade Olynyk.
