For clarity on Jrue, he was downgraded from probable to doubtful (per a Tweet from the Celtics three minutes ago), so he’s probably but out but it’s not a certainty yet.

No Jrue today. Sprained ankle

Not official yet. Says doubtful not fully out.

But JB is now officially available. Hopefully he has another game like Wednesday.

Honestly maybe it's for the best. Jrue wasn't doing well at all the last few days so he might just need a reset. And who knows, maybe this entire time he was dealing with something.

Good that Jaylen is likely to go. Hope he can carry over from Wednesday's performance.

If the Celtics win, they clinch the group for the in-season tournament.  With a loss, they need to beat Chicago Tuesday and have the Nets win today, and also make sure they’ve got the nets point differential between them, Orlando, and Brooklyn.  So hopefully they win today and get rid of the uncertainty.

(I know some of you don’t like the tournament, but a lot of the games have been pretty exciting, and it would be nice to get some simulated playoff experiences in December with this group, so I’m hoping they keep it up an advance).

If this really was a playoff game, Holiday would likely play.  I don't feel like the in season tournament is a factor at all, the team doesn't care.  It isn't a factor at all in whether or not to keep Holiday out.  This to me illustrates why this whole thing is not going to catch on.  This game will be treated like any other regular season game by the team and the players.

Unfortunately I'm being dragged into Black Friday shopping today by my family so I'll just have to rely on this thread + gamecast this afternoon. A 2:30 start time on a weekday that's not Christmas is so weird

I did notice that he tweaked something during the Milwaukee game. He was slow to get up and walked gingerly but stayed in the game. Hopefully it's just precautionary.

Unfortunately he'd help quite a bit vs Banchero. I imagine Jaylen gets him and Banton steps in and gets minutes.

The in-season Tournament is just another thing to bet on.

What's the over/under for Tatum getting hit in the head with no call?
