yep, this is a lot like that game a couple years ago when we lost to the 5 win Nets.

Plus, 7 pts from our bench tonight, and only 2 from Dooling in Allen's starting spot. I feel bad for Quis, cause I know he has it in him to be a decent scorer, but he just can't get anything to drop the last few games. Hopefully he can play through it and not tank mentally, because we really do need him.

  • Thank you Eddie!
What kind of first half was that?

That was putrid!

(and Patriotesque)

Without either Pierce or Ray playing, the Celtics have looked like the reverse Patriots.  Decent to good on defense, but they can't shoot into an Olympic sized pool.

They haven't look good on defense.  The Nets have 2 offensive players seeing major minutes: Okur and Brooks.  Brooks got whatever he wanted and Okur missed a bunch of open looks.

I firmly believe that a team like the Knicks would have found a way to let the Nets drop 55-60 on them in the 1st half even with those starters.

The effort and tenacity is there...hes just so rusty still.

Magic are doing to Wiz what Cs should be doing: winning by 25.

No energy to start the 3rd.

Ugh, are we seriously gonna drop below .500 by losing to a Nets team WITHOUT Deron Williams or Brook Lopez?

Disgraceful.

Oh my goodness Rondo.  That's what we need.  Take it to the hoop.  You afraid of Mehmet Okur? I sure hope not.

i don't believe that i'm gonna actually say this but i think i like bradley to play in this game. he can cover brooks 1on1 better than dooling the way i see it. also dooling ain't doing anything special both on offense and defense. doc please give AB a chance... :(

I'm ok with him not taking charges if it means fewer injuries.

it frustrates me so much how the celtics play so poorly against the bottom feeders of the league...and then beat good teams..

What good team did they beat?
