Cannot stand how brown just turns into a liability in a moment

It's the one thing I fear most when we'll meet a worthy contender.

hes handles and decision making and his free throw shooting have me worried.

JB with a rough 1st half....4 turnovers and 1/5 from 3.  Cs up 22 but JB is only +6.
He's 8/14 with 17 points in spite of the refs doing everything they can to screw him. He needs to take better care of the ball but he's otherwise been quite good.

Yeah - good half overall. The missed FTs and a few TOs. Playing D, working boards.  Good half.  But he needs to figure out the FT shooting.

white should be paid asap...

Most underrated player in the league by far. Despite the plethora of amazing players I view White as a top 10 guard in good company with: Doncic, SGA, Edwards, Haliburton, Mitchell, Irving, Fox, Curry and Brunson.

Thus better than Maxey, Booker, Harden, Lillard, J.Murray, Ball, Young, Bane, Morant, VanVleet, D.Murray, McCollum or Garland.

Interesting fact - below is the Celtics record in games without key players:

* Without Brown 12-0 (1.00)
* Without Tatum: 7-1 (0.875)
* Without Jrue: 11-2 (0.845)
* Without Porzingis: 21-4 (0.840)
* Without Horford: 13-4 (0.765)
* Without White: 6-3 (0.667)

The only time this team was not putting putting up the best win record in the NBA is when it was playing without Derrick White.

Honestly, I don’t see Jrue handling the ball much better and making sloppy plays occasionally. I don’t have big worries anymore about JBs decisions.  He’s shown a better handle all year and he’s digging in on defense.  The FTs are agonizing though.

Missed foul shots and too many turnovers need to be fixed.

Did Tatum catch Brown's free throw disease? I really hope it's not contagious

Sit brown

He’s just a liability

Arguably the best player in the half that we just dominated, but yeah, sit him

He wasn’t. Tatum and White were. Brown single-handedly fueled the heat’s run to end the half with missed free throws and turnovers

Miami just going to play full court press basketball.

The missed free throws are unacceptable

My God, what is going on with our free throw shooting?

This is why the addition of Jrue and emergence of White have been so critical - no longer is there any need for Brown to spend significant amounts of time as the team's primary ball handler.  He can focus on scoring, rebounding and defending, which is what he does best.
