Hm. At the very least, this team looks *different* from the team that we saw the first 8 games, which is obviously a good thing.

Unfortunately, we don't seem to be quite there yet. Interior defense is weak, at the moment. Whether that's because we lack a legit center or because guys fail at their assignments, it needs to change.

Yeah, the team is better I think for 3 reasons. Pierce is back, KG is better, and the team is getting more used to each other.  This improvement has been without Rondo and with Ray missing a few too.  But I think you are correct that the real missing piece is at the 5.  Not sure how they can address this.
I'd say it's not just KG and Pierce that have gotten better, everyone looks different: Sasha and E'Twaun the two most improved benchies, since the slow season start.

The only one that might've gone backwards is O'Neal :]

Lots to like about C's play; but defensive lapses are a concern.

The Celtics have to get HUGE offensive output every game to be a factor , becasue we can't play ZERO interior defense.  In other words our jump shooters have to outscore the other teams interior Big men inside. OMG ........that sucks so bad......please get us some young CENTERS

Moore is solid. Perhaps not the most talented PG, but he's solid. Rather have him handle the ball than say, Ray Allen.

And learning. I assume the kid has always been a shooting guard.
Fair point. He's young and hasn't played that spot before. I wonder if he'd be quick enough to play like Ray. His release is a tad slow for the NBA level. Not that I've timed it or anything, it just looks more like Pierce's shot than Ray's.

I'd assume that is why he was a 2nd round draft pick. Too short to play sg and very raw at pg. Sounds like Ainge just drafted Eddie House.

I don't really see any comparison with House.

House was a 6 foot SG whose entire game was running off screens / spotting up on the wings and taking quick jumpers.

As somebody just mentioned, Moore doesn't have a quick enough release to have that kind of game.

Ray's favorite trick-pass: behind the head.

I love it when he only takes them off the play of others. When he gets too shot happy its an issue.

Celtics, please win so I might have a chance to stop seething about Sunday's loss. I really need to get that game out of my head, all my friends and family are wondering what the hell's gotten into me!

Plus Eddie's missing a lefty. And I mean that literally: the guy had no frikkin' left arm.
