Gotta say, Ray is playing some AWESOME defense lately ... I don't wanna hear he's only an offensive threat. Great job there on Wade, forcing the turnover.

Miami can shoot ... that's the only reason they're in this one ... this would be a blowout otherwise.

Rondo tonight: 22 pts, 14 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals ... great game, good win, though they're not coming easily. I want a blowout on Friday ... if it's not, then I'll begin to wonder if the pessimists are correct.

The Celtics have won, so once again it's time for my little "own the thread" dance ...

"It's late at night, I own this thread ... Oh yeah, oh yeah!

There's no one else, they're all in bed ... oh yeah, oh yeah!

I couldn't watch the Celtics live ... oh yeah, oh yeah!

 It's the re-broadcast or don't survive ... don't survive, don't survive!"

"I chat myself in these conditions ... oh yeah, oh yeah!

Cuz I'm the only one who listens ... oh yeah, oh yeah!

I fear that I'm misunderstood ... oh yeah, oh yeah!

But the CELTICS WON! So it's all good ... it's all good, it's all good!

 Oh yeah, it's good ... oh yeah, it's good ... "

That's the last time ... I promise! (Today, that is, haha ;))

G'night, y'all!

Good game from the C's, although I was pretty scared in the 4th quarter. I was thinking "yay, here you go" when we went up by 10 and Rondo was controlling the game and then, once again, we collapsed and let them right back in instead of finishing them...

Fortunately we did win at the end. I'm still amazed when I see that opponents are really fighting till the last second to beat us and suddenly hitting desperations 3's while I never see them do that against other teams. Strange. But when you have Ray the cooler in your team, your lead is safe in the free-throws contests. :)

Good game by Ray, I thought he rushed his 3 points shots and didn't take many good looks but he hit a big one at the end and his midrange game was excellent. He played well defensively too.

Rondo was Rondo (awesome :)), and I liked what Sheed did in this game. Sure, he missed a lot of easy shots and layups but he got almost all the time into the paint or from midrange, like he did in the game against the Wizards. Good sign, keep it up Sheed!

KG looked great physically, improving every game. And I liked Docs substitutions, finally putting Perk back in the game at the end to go in the paint and not settle for 3 pointers.

House was hot tonight and TA made some key plays down the stretch (his steal on Wade and the made free throws just after).

There were still major problems (turnovers and missed free-throws) but it was a good win without Pierce, and the energy from the Celtics was great for the most part. However, the interior defense sucked tonight... I know Wade is an excellent player but he got too many (if not only...) open looks or clear paths to the paint.
