Not exaggerating, but CLE really is playing like they're Golden State tonight.

Guess we should have seen it coming.

Anyone can look like that with the type of defense we've had tonight. Can't tell you how many defensive miscues and poor defensive possessions we've had that have allowed them wide open shots.

Yup looks like this is going to be a 7 game series.

Prediction was Celtics in grueling game7- we should be so lucky to have chance to close it at home!

That's true as well.

I blame this loss on Jaylen fasting for Ramadan.

It’s not Ramadan

Yes it is. Ramadan is a month long, just started about a week ago.

Oh yes you are right.
someone get Jaylen a snack.

well Horford only got 4 shots in 3 quarters tonight.
That just isn't enough.  That is something we can fix.

Jaylen got into early foul trouble guarding lebron.
That can be fixed, start Morris on him.  Bring Jaylen onto him later as we did in the other games.
It can’t be fixed unless we bench brown for Morris.  And it’s exactly how we started game 2.

Jaylen didn't start on James in game 2.

Relying on HCA to win this series is a scary proposition.

Yeah I hate to say it, but I have more confidence CLE can steal a game at Boston than we do of stealing one at Cleveland. Maybe it's the Lebron effect, but after watching tonight it kind of feels that way. This one's going 6 or 7 and I doubt we eliminate them at the Q in Game 6...

I felt like the C’s would have to win at least one in Cleveland to get it done. Lose Game 4 and the series starts over again.

only chance i see us winning on road is game 3 or 4. forget 3 now. maybe forget 4 if the ckown crew if reffing next game. we could be in deep doo doo folks.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Good Lord, Brad, stop freaking playing Monroe! Dude is almost automatically a given bucket defensively, and he simply can't finish around the rim to make up for his poor defense.

Can we at least lose by like less than 20 points tonight, just to save some grace...

Why are we playing like the Rockets with this pathetic defense and constant use of iso-plays??

Just have to hope this butt whooping tonight lights a fire in the team and they come back in game 4 as the more desperate team. The Celtics played like they were too cool for school tonight.

Eh, this is clearly worse than anyone expected, but I figured we'd lose tonight with a big Cavs effort. I think in 2-0 series game 4 is the ideal target game to take for the road team. Hopefully it's a better effort on Monday.

Oh, I'm not surprised at all by the energy and effort level of the two teams.   It's easy to play desperate when you're down 2-0. It's much harder to manufacture that desperation when you have a 2-0 lead and three days off to have everyone pump you up.

Game 4 will be very telling. Let them stew over this beat down for a night and come back with some fire, and I think we will see a different team on Monday.

Well after this shellacking we won’t be the favorites which suits me. I think the team plays better when we are the underdogs. Too much adulation goes to their heads especially the younger ones

Is he fasting for real? Is he Muslim?

yeah we are paper thin.  That is the other issue, if we have anyone who has just an off night, we don't have a lot of anything on the bench.
