Disappointing that we couldn’t even make them sweat a little.

I've been a fan of Monroe all these years. Wanted us to get him all these years. Ecstatic when we signed him with DPE.

But man he's been mediocre in these playoffs. Also seems like his defense really is a huge liability. Doesn't seem to match up well with many of the playoff teams' bigs which kind of makes him pointless.

I guess solid depth, but still...

He hasn't been great but he's generally on the floor with scrub city. Tonight it's just ridiculous to pick on him

Oh I agree. It's hard to really call out anyone or any few in particular. Whole team was awful.

Hate to agree with him, but Mark Jackson is right.

Celtics didn't tonight. Not at all.

What team is going to sign Monroe this off season? And what will be command? He might get the minimum he had been this bad. From all star to minimum in a few years

I agree, he hasn't been good in the playoffs at all.  granted he hasn't played much at all.  But he hasn't been a spark on offense off the bench like we expected.

our biggest issue in this game was playing soft on offense early. specifically just plain settling for jump shots, we needed to be aggressive.

in game 2 we turned it around when we stopped settling for jump shots. settling for jump shots has been an issue with every team stevens has coached.

Cavs scrubs shoot better at home we knew that would happen. Hill, Smith ect. cant play like this in Boston. Game 5 they will suck again. I'm just hoping the C's can steal game 4 because if they don't this will be a 7 game series and anything can happen with Lebron.

I still can't believe George Hill went Steph Curry on us in the 1st.

Like... how did we let that happen??

Yeah there is terrible play all around on our team tonight.  I just wanted them to come out with energy, hustle and toughness and it just didn't happen.

This is why CBS has played small ball. Bigs that cannot defend on the perimeter mostly cannot play in playoff games.

Yet he had MM out there and left him there who was repeatedly burned on D causing switch after switch because he was too lazy to fight thru a screen or position himself to prevent the screen from taking him out of the play.  JB then picks up 2 quick fouls.  bottom line:  C's lost this game in the 1st quarter.
