is ray allen's career over?

Didn't we ask that in the Cleveland series last year?

I started a thread about trading him when his value was high and got crucified.

Well, it is disappointing but it happens.  There's plenty of games left to go.

Houston is pretty good. The C's could be 2-2 after Tuesday. :-X

Rough one... have a good night guys
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

C's definately made Pacers look way better then they are. Payback won't be pretty at the Garden for the Pacer though. Celtics can't be happy with how they performed tonight.

This kind of thing 3 games into the season you should expect with that kind of statement.

I love Ray Allen and hope he is good for many more years. But every aging athlete wakes up one morning and is not the same player that he use to be. This is Ray's 1st back to back game this season, so it will be interesting to watch.

hopefully too early to panic, but i have to say his very noticeable dropoff last season was covered up by the team success. his all-star selection was very dubious, as he made it as a double-injury sub voted in by coaches who overwhelmingly favor team record as a measure of all-star players. There are a lot of 2 guards out there that would help this team as much or more than ray, for a fraction of the cost...i hope he pulls out of it but we'll see, but he's hardly untouchable.

that said, he's not the only one to blame tonight. Everyone missed way too many shots, lacked intensity, and made poor choices. maybe something to do with checking into their hotels at 4 am, but we'll see come houston.

seems to me that Ray Allen was one of the biggest reasons the Celtics won the finals vs Lakers last year.

Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:

Ok, Ray shot 4-10,6 rb 1 steal 4 tos. PP was 3-15 and House was 1-7. So why is this loss on Ray?
